Welcome to the NFL Game-of-the-Week page, which provides access to one of my Recommended Plays versus the spread, every Saturday of the regular season.
I typically offer 2-3 Recommended Plays each week to my Premium Service subscribers and these selections are governed by the following criteria:
 The team in question must have a minimum 58% Confidence rating based on the results of my Situational Trend Analysis (Game Report Page 6).
The team must have a lower, or at least comparable, injury rating than their opponent, calculated using my proprietory 'point-system'. They must also not be playing an untested rookie or a player with limited NFL experience at the QB position.
The team has demonstrated a general ability to compete at the pro-level (This is otherwise known as the 'Culpepper rule', enacted after Detroit's 0-16 season in 2008).
The team in question is not dealing with major off-field issues that could impact on-field performance or result in last-minute team or league suspensions to key players (aka, Koren Robinson rule).
In addition to these factors, I also consider information on Page 4 (Fundamental Match-ups) and Page 5 (Team Momentum Analysis via Charts) of the applicable NFL Game Report.
